Bio/Historical Note: In the Music in Early Childhood program at the Albert Community Centre, 130 children learn the basics of music. While the tots play games, sing, listen to stories and move to music, they also learn about such things as melody, rhythm, beat and musical terms. The program, which began in 1986, has 22 classes for children aged three to seven. The program is run by the University of Saskatchewan through its music and extension departments (1987).
