This fonds consists primarily of material relating to Marketa Newman's research about Saskatchewan artists; the Newman family's experience in the Terezin concentration camp and subsequent emigration to Canada; and personal correspondence.

This collection contains material obtained by the Committee on Historical Records, established at the University in the early 1940's to obtain historical documents and reminiscences from individuals throughout the province. Although many responses are brief and contain only suggested names of people to be contacted, some replies provide detailed accounts of early settlement and community development. The fonds also contains brief family histories from a class in 1943.

This fonds contains correspondence with family, friends and colleagues; biographical and research grant information; research and bibliographic files and notes; manuscripts and typescripts of published and unpublished scholarly articles, book reviews, addresses and books; lecture notes and course materials; as well as drafts and typescripts of plays, short stories and several books for youth. A large percentage of the research files contain photocopies of secondary and primary materials.

This fonds contains correspondence, memoranda, articles, addresses, notes, and case books. Much of the material deals with aspects of international law, including peace-keeping, the role of the United Nations, Canadian foreign policy, the European Economic Community, and the Organization of American States. There is considerable material on other areas of law as well: the judicial system and selection of judges; human rights; capital punishment; evidence; English law; and legal history, including research on law and institutions in the Northwest Territories, 1869-1905.

This fonds consists primarily of lecture notes created by E.F.L. Whitmore for courses he taught at the College of Law. The subjects include income tax, practice, equity, taxation, labour law, Surrogate Court, and wills. The fonds also includes copies of examinations for several courses.

This fonds consists of material used, created, and accumulated by Arthur Moxon. The fonds contains correspondence concerning a number of organizations, associations, and committees with which Moxon was associated. The fonds also includes notes and records related to lectures given by Moxon on various legal topics. In addition, the fonds includes a file of correspondence concerning business conducted while Moxon was in private practice including requests for information on points of law or advice about how to proceed in legal matters.

This fonds consists of bound books of lecture notes written by J.T. Hébert. Some of the books contain lecture notes for classes being taught by Hébert at the University of Saskatchewan. However, many of the books appear to be notes from classes taken by Hébert as a law student at Harvard University and Dalhousie University. In some cases, notes that appear to have been originally taken when he was a student seem to have been further annotated by him years later for use in his own lectures. When a notation at the front of the book indicates that the notes were originally taken as a student at another university, Archives staff have noted this in the file list including the original professor’s name, if noted in the book.

This fonds consists of minutes, correspondence, and reports related to various University and College committees; material regarding legal studies; and addresses from the opening of the Law building. The majority of the collection relates to Tollefson's research into the health care system, health insurance, and Medicare, and includes reference material, notes, correspondence, and reports.

This fonds documents the career of Douglas Schmeiser, notably his work as a constitutional advisor both in Canada and internationally; his work with the Law Reform Commission of Saskatchewan, as well as his study of judicial independence and judicial compensation; and his work on human rights.

This fonds contains notes, clippings, correspondence and audio tapes. Much of this fonds is made up of a series of journals kept by McConnell that document his interests and over a twelve year period.
