History

This series consists of an illustrated history of the Red Cross by UNESCO, scrapbooks primarily of newspaper clippings and some photographs covering the history of the Moose Jaw Red Cross, and a special edition newspaper on clubwomen in Moose Jaw, featuring an article on Mrs. A.F. Feltham, an active member of the Red Cross.

This series contains memos and letters sent to and by the Moose Jaw Chamber of Commerce from 1968-1972. The correspondence relates to how the organization conducts its day-to-day business.

Committees’ Meeting Minutes

This series contains the records of various committees associated with the Chamber of Commerce. These committees include: retail merchants, band theme, bar, executive, directors, agricultural, winter carnival, economic development, industrial, education, civic, real estate board, safety council, air show, and the better business bureau.

Tourism

This series contains records relating to tourism in Moose Jaw. It includes minutes from the Tourist Committee, maps of the city, and other promotional material. It also contains tourist inquiries from local and international visitors.

Water Associations

This series contains the records of various water associations connected with the Chamber of Commerce. This includes the Saskatchewan Resources Development Association, Moose Jaw Souris Water Association, Qu’Appelle Valley Development Association and Canadian Water Resources Association. The records include minutes, briefs, correspondence and membership lists.

Published Materials

This series contains material published by the Moose Jaw Union Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae Association or published material about the association. Such material includes the association’s newsletter, “Nurses Notes,” and newspaper articles published in the Moose Jaw Times-Herald.

Photographs

This series contains two black and white photographs accumulated by the Moose Jaw Union Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae Association, such as a portrait of graduated laboratory technologists, an artist’s rendition of the Moose Jaw Union Hospital, the first Moose Jaw hospital, and the changing hospitals over time.

Board Business

This series consists of minutes, correspondence and other items relating to general Board of Trade activities.
