This collection contains books, magazines, and a variety of ephemera associated with themes of Canadiana, advertising, keys, locks, and locksmithing, mysteries, socialism, sex and gender, science fiction, western living, adventure.

This fonds contains material relating to the research work, students, faculty and administration of the College of Arts and Sciences, and its departments. These records generally contain correspondence, minutes, reports, and memoranda; they may also contain material relating to associated national or international organizations, research articles, and addresses.

This fonds contains correspondence, clippings, photographs, reports, and notes pertaining to the activities and interests of J.M. Pepper.

This fonds contains correspondence, budget and annual reports, and minutes relating to all aspects of the administration of the Division of Life Sciences.

These postcards are printed photographs (not real photo) images of the University of Saskatchewan campus, and Saskatoon, taken during the 1940s. The postcards have not been used: each is identified with a “negative number” on the back, although the photographer is not known. It is assumed these were a reference set, from which orders for more postcards could be made. They are in pristine condition and provide exceptionally clear images of early University buildings, such as the original Veterinary Medicine building and the student-built “New Medical College,” as well as rare images of Saskatoon, including the Bessborough Hotel gardens and views of bridges from the road.

This fonds contains offprints collected by Dr. Knight. The primary focus of the material deals with photochemistry (a branch of chemistry having to do with the effect of radiant energy, especially light, in producing chemical action). This fonds primarily contains material relating to the research activities of E.Y. Spencer, including chemical analysis of various grains; silicates; sterols; synthetic proteins; solvent extractions from lignites; and an analysis of freshwater fish. Additionally, there is some material concerning various national and provincial organizations, including the Chemical Institute of Canada; the National Research Council; and the American Association of Cereal Chemists.

This fonds contains material relating to the personal and professional life of Gerhard Herzberg and his wife, Luise Herzberg. In particular, it contains correspondence with family, friends and colleagues, most notably from the period 1933-1949. Some articles are included.

These records contain correspondence, minutes, memoranda, and reports concerning the administration of summer school courses.

This fonds contains materials primarily related to Moss's work on the soil survey of Saskatchewan, and academic work connected to soil classification and land use.

This fonds contains Professor Eager's files on the Alumni Association, Faculty Association, Canadian Committee on Counselling for Engineering, and radio broadcasts for "The World of Chemistry," as well as personal correspondence and lecture notes. In addition, there are several research files on uranium, lignite, kinetics, silicates, and radiation chemistry.

Dr. Lacalli's research involves the embryology and larval forms of marine invertebrates: principally, the development of the nervous system and the formation pattern in these organisms. His work has included theoretical, computer-based studies of how pattern and formation appear de novo in embryos as they develop, and microanatomical studies (primarily, via serial electron microscopy) of the developing nervous system in simple invertebrates near the evolutionary stem from which vertebrates, with their advanced nervous system, evolved. The process developed by Lacalli enabled an image of the whole body of their specimens in one micrograph, a relatively rare achievement and one which enabled him to analyse the nervous system in far more detail than was previously possible. This fonds contains an extensive collection of the electron micrographs taken by Lacalli, together with research notes, offprints, and other documentation relating to his research activities

Equivalent in scope to the Presidential or Vice-presidential records, this fonds specifically documents the administration of the Saskatoon campus from 1967-1974, and includes correspondence, reports, minutes, and memoranda. It also includes considerable documentation of the various administrative committees functioning during this period.

This fonds contains correspondence, reports, addresses, minutes, and research material relating to Thorvaldson's academic interests and work as a consultant, his involvement with various national scientific organizations, and with the University of Saskatchewan.
