Lawsuit

This subseries contains records pertaining to the lawsuit of Jerry Kaiser versus The City of Moose Jaw. It consists of examinations, responses, correspondences, briefs, and environmental monitoring and impact assessments of the Kaiser portion of the Baildon Coulee.

The subject matter varies greatly and includes: Isaac Cowie, William Poulter, Norris Lake, early ailments and cures, the first Mayoral race, the expansion of the CPR, John Wellington, the dedication of the Moose Jaw Cemetery, Charles Brandon and Henry, St. Aiden Church Stained Glass, the Zion Church, the wooden paving blocks, Dr. Campbell Douglas, the interior of St. John’s Church, a tour of the Moose Jaw Cemetery, Donald Sinclair, and early hunters, the fight for the provincial capital, background on St. Columba’s Church, and St. John’s Church. Also included are assorted paragraphs, and an unknown draft.

This subseries contains photographs acquired by Leith Knight for her interest in history and use in researching for her Moose Jaw Times Herald column.
