Costumes for the John Chisholm school Education Week display were made in Principal Patricia McIntyre's home economics class. Here she shows students how to embroider the costumes they will wear in the pageant. Twenty-four year old Miss McIntyre believes retarded children should be taught self-reliance and her ambitious program has produced a school of happy, active children."
