This fonds documents the friendships, civic and individual concerns, and personal involvement that together, help create and define a sense of community. It contains materials relating to Ruth Horlick's life, the experiences as varied as war and household that impacted upon her, and her extensive friendships. Additionally it documents her commitments to various organizations, including her work with psychiatric patients at Royal University Hospital and the McKerracher Centre, as well as her volunteer work with the Saskatoon Symphony and the Learning Disabilities Association.

Black Baseball Players in Canada - A Biographical Dictionary 1881-1960

A 203-page softcover book with an alphabetically organized series of biographies of about 500 baseball players who played for various teams throughout Canada from 1881 to 1960. It includes many players of the barn-storming teams that played on the prairies during the 1950s, including the Indian Head Rockets. Writeups include: Nathaniel "Nat" Bates, who pitched for the Rockets in 1952 and visited Saskatchewan in 2022 for the induction of the Indian Head Rockets (1950-1954) into the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame in Battleford and for the opening off the Indian Head Rockets display at the Indian Head Museum; Elijah "Pumpsie" Green who also played for the Rockets and was the first black player on the Boston Red Sox. Many other Indian Head Rockets players are also included.

King George School Project Collection
The collection contains materials relating to the project, and in particular, images taken by the school children. These images document people admired and loved; pets; images of the city, neighborhoods, school and school grounds; and other materials which may well alter and change over time, including currency, various electronic apparatus including computers, cell phones, televisions, and stereos; modes of transportation, including cars and school buses. As such, the collection represents a good sample of materials which document Saskatoon at a specific time; and in particular documents the inner city area near King George school, and the school's teachers, students, and activities.
