This collection contains catalogues, publications, passports, certificates, correspondence, minutes and other formal documents from arts organizations, photographs, slides, negatives, video tapes, eight-millimetre film, architectural drawings, sketchbooks, media clippings, and one ceramic art work presented to Jack Sures from his students. His art works, exhibitions, travels, commissions, teaching career and personal contacts are well documented through this expanse of material.

Fonds consists of files generated by Susan Whitney Gallery Ltd, a private art gallery located in Regina, Saskatchewan. These records relate to the exhibitions and selling of art by such regional artists as Joe Fafard, David Thauberger, Russ yuristy, Bill Lobchuck, Don Proch, and Tony Tascona, among others, and such folk artists as W.C. McCargar, Dmytro Stryjek, and Eva Dennis. Other Canadian and foreign artists are represented. The fonds have been organized into ten series: Art Fairs, Artist files/Artists, Date Books, Financial Records, Globe Theatre, Invitations, Personal, Photographs, Scrapbooks, and Working files/Administration. The first series, Art Fairs, is further subdivided into four subseries: General, ART/LA/Los Angeles International Art Fair, Chicago International Art Exposition, and the Chicago International New Art Forms Exposition.

Collection consists of photographs documenting the history and development of the Regina General Hospital. Photographs depict physicians, staff, volunteers, and patients of the hospital; the interior and exterior of the hospital buildings, including renovations and construction; equipment; employee events and leisure activities; students, including graduation ceremonies and portraits; patient care services; museum artifacts and displays; and the Red Cross Blood Transfusion Services. Photographs also depict the buildings of the Pasqua Hospital, Plains Health Centre, and Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. Prominent individuals featured in photographs include Executive Directors: Charles E. Barton, Dr. Ernest Appleyard, A. C. Pickles, H. M. J. Westcott, Dr. D. W. Carnduff, Edward C. Emery, and Royce H. Gill; Chairmen of the Board of Governors: Gordon B. Grant (also Minister of Public Health), Donald M. McPherson, Ken P. R. Hodges, C. Hewitt Helmsing, F. M. (Mike) Badham, and Orville L. Rolfes, Ministers of Health; and Isobel Colvin, Administrator (Patient Care) and Director of the School of Nursing, and Eleanor Linnell, Director, Nursing Education. Celebrities depicted include Ernie Coombs (Mr. Dressup), child entertainer; and Nancy Greene (Raine), world class skier.

Fonds consists of books, articles, book reviews, published and unpublished essays, and translations by economist, Dr. Anatol Murad. Also included are Dr. Murad's Curriculum Vitae, passports, and photograph.
