This fonds contains material relating to the personal and professional life of Luise Herzberg, including materials relating to her childhood and schooling; family documents; materials relating to her parents, Paul and Elsbeth Oettinger, correspondence with her sister, Lotte Thurnauer; and materials received or collected by her son Paul Herzberg. The fonds contains substantial material relating to Luise’s scientific work, including correspondence with international colleagues, and reprints of her articles.

This fonds documents the teaching career and private interests of Dennis W. Harley. It contains film, audio tapes, publications by Harley, reference material, correspondence, sketches and photographs.

This fonds consists of records of the Joseph Hinde and Henry Wake families, members of an English Quaker community in Birmingham who immigrated to Canada in 1912. The records reflect their daily lives and the operation of the Hinde family's Valley Springs Ranch near Borden, Saskatchewan. Materials relating to the Horn family farm at Spring Valley Saskatchewan during the Depression comprise the second series of records in this fonds. The types of records included are diaries, correspondence, photographs, financial records, publications, artifacts and clippings.

The fonds includes paintings, sketches and memorabilia relating to the artistic pursuits and output of Olena (Sherven) Smith; and material relating to Tom Smith’s careers and interests, particularly archaeology and local history, as well as engineering and farming, including documentation of his job on the engineering crew for the Alaska Highway.

This collection contains biographical material and personal correspondence, as well as files relating to Professor Coburn's work in the Dept. of Psychiatry, his affiliation with the New Democratic Party, and his membership with the Unitarian Universalist Church. There are several files on City and St. Paul's Hospitals, other universities, and articles, lecture notes, book reviews, speeches and addresses by Dr. Coburn.

The fonds is comprised of small press gardening publications and offprints collected by Maginnes, as well as videos on his subjects of interest. The largest segment of the fonds is Maginnes’ collection of 35mm slides, which feature lecture slides and images related to his greenhouse work, images of his sabbatical trips to Denmark, Sweden, and Japan, and personal family images.

This fonds contains materials relating to Pierson’s research interests, and his collaborative work with graduate students and faculty from medicine, nursing, veterinary medicine, and computational science. Pierson and the reproductive biology research unit made medical history when they were the first to capture natural human ovulation, witnessed with the use of an intra-vaginal probe to produce ultrasound waves. Those original images, on video tape, form part of this fonds; as do other images and data relating to Pierson’s research in reproductive technologies.

This fond documents the life and career of David Kaplan. It contains material related to his family, academic and teaching career and community involvement.

This collection of images by H. W. Finkler, were taken of activities within the framework of Canada – USSR / Russia cooperation on the arctic. The subject matter follows the development of international relations, with an emphasis on the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug and particularly, Indigenous peoples of the north. The collection contains images of cities, towns, and herding camps; various officials from Canada and Russia; and numerous images of local people. It is an exceptionally comprehensive glimpse into the architecture, landscape, and daily lives of people in the Russian federation, over a period of roughly 20 years.

The fonds consists of records relating to the research and writing of Aggressive in Pursuit, including correspondence and interviews with Hall and others; material relating to all the facets of Hall's career (lawyer, judge in Saskatchewan, Supreme Court of Canada justice, and his role on various commissions and enquiries). Some of the material was originally created or accumulated by Hall. Notably, this material includes letters from members of the public following the Stephen Truscott decision; correspondence of Hall as Chief Justice of Saskatchewan; and a personal note from Prime Minister Diefenbaker prior to the announcement of the Hall Commission on health services.

This fonds contains correspondence between Wilfred McKay and family members during his deployment to Europe in World War II with the Saskatoon Light Infantry. In these letters, McKay describes: his deployment journey; details of the daily life of a soldier at training and in battle in England, Spitzbergen (“Operation Gauntlet”) in Norway, and Italy; observations on local culture and cuisine, flora and fauna; his various duties, promotions and positions; personal relationships; family updates; comedic poems and anecdotes; marriage announcement from Holland; post war duty in Holland to sell Canadian vehicles. One letter is from 1944 is from Wilfred’s brother “Mac” Thomas McKay to brother “Cap” Charles Angus Percival McKay. This fonds contains Professor Altschul's personal papers, including the manuscripts of his two novels, "Trilemma" and "Vorgestern und Uebermorgern," various poems, stories, and articles, as well as personal correspondence, finances, and family memorabilia. It also contains his books "Arteriosclerosis" and "Endothelium," and three books by other authors. Many of the stories, articles, and correspondence refer to the sinking of the Athenia. This fonds also contains files relating to Professor Altschul's research activities, particularly in the fields of arteriosclerosis, endothelium, and niacin.

This fonds includes materials related to Gens’ work in bringing together Saskatchewan’s gay community, both in general terms of his activism and gay health work, and more specifically in terms of his publishing work on Gaymates and Perceptions. The fonds also contains an extensive pornography collection ranging from magazines to videos to other types of pornographic materials. Gens maintained extensive subject files on Queer life in Canada, and these have been maintained under Series III: Queer Subject files. Many of these are related to the history of Queer communities in Canada and Saskatchewan. Finally, some personal material relating to Gens is also included.
