There are also press releases, speeches, and papers from the Western Economic Opportunities Conference (Calgary, 1973) and the Food Prices Review Board including published reports on prices of foodstuffs, company profits, and price trends. As well, there are news releases, bulletins, and reports from the Anti-Inflation Board. There is a considerable amount of material from the Restrictive Trade Practices Commission, including transcripts of hearings and exhibits concerning the inquiry into the economic, legal, technological, marketing, and administrative practices of telecommunications companies in Canada.

Of particular note is the extensive collection of photographs by John Diduck and Rudolph Kaul collected by Dr. Simpson documenting Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, the university and in particular the Department of Crop Science and the Crop Development Centre.
