This fonds contains correspondence, clippings, photographs and printed material dealing primarily with the artistic career of Ruth Pawson. These slides represent a complete catalogue of Ruth Pawson's artwork, as well as images of friends' cabins and other locations where she liked to paint. Most of the slides were annotated; title, price, size, sales, some notes, and dates where provided have been listed here. Please note that the date on the slide may refer to the date of sale, and not the date the work was created. The slides arrived in a series of boxes, each of which was labelled with dates, and have been left in that order.

This fonds documents the friendships, civic and individual concerns, and personal involvement that together, help create and define a sense of community. It contains materials relating to Ruth Horlick's life, the experiences as varied as war and household that impacted upon her, and her extensive friendships. Additionally it documents her commitments to various organizations, including her work with psychiatric patients at Royal University Hospital and the McKerracher Centre, as well as her volunteer work with the Saskatoon Symphony and the Learning Disabilities Association.

A number of Hurley’s letters and cards include sketches, pictograms, and “Hurleyniks”. The personal correspondence includes updates on personal achievements, activities and health concerns. Hurley’s failing eyesight is apparent in later letters.

It includes: drafts and manuscripts of his poetry, short fiction, novels and radio plays; his published books and work in periodicals; correspondence with writers and publishers; records relating to Salt, an unpublished anthology co-edited with Glen Sorestad, 2000% Cracked Wheat, and his editorial work on other's writings. Also included in this fonds are records of Coteau Books and Currie's involvement with the Festival of Words and Saskatchewan Writer's Guild, as well as some memorabilia.

There are extensive materials relating to Canadian and western US breweries; beer companies; and beer-related materials, including magazines, newsletters, other published reference material, and collectibles (predominantly, posters, labels and mats). It includes Richard Sweet’s extensive notes, and his research materials leading to his publications, The Directory of Canadian Breweries (first and second editions); Malted Manitoba; and Brewed Right on the Prairies: 122 Years of Brewing in Saskatchewan.

This fonds contains files relating to St. Barbe's family, as well as his personal correspondence, autobiographical material, his forestry and conservation activities (including Men of the Trees and the Sahara Reclamation Program), and his involvement with the Baha'i faith. While the collection as a whole covers the full span of St. Barbe’s life, 1889-1982, the bulk of the material dates from post-World War II, much of the earlier material apparently having been lost to German bombs in England during the war.
