Topics include Kitchen's acceptance to nursing school; nursing student activities and graduation exercises; engagements, marriages, births, and deaths; nursing placements in Africa, commissions during World War II, professional appointments, and retirements; the Regina General Hospital School of Nursing and the Superintendent of Nurses; awards of merit; and Regina General Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae Association.

This fonds contains correspondence, interviews, drafts, articles, addresses, and resource files from the Consumer Credit Study, the Royal Commission on Consumer Problems and Inflation (Prairie Provinces Cost Study Commission), the National Farm Products Marketing Council, and the Natural Gas Development and Conservation Board. There are also press releases, speeches, and papers from the Western Economic Opportunities Conference (Calgary, 1973) and the Food Prices Review Board including published reports on prices of foodstuffs, company profits, and price trends. As well, there are news releases, bulletins, and reports from the Anti-Inflation Board. There is a considerable amount of material from the Restrictive Trade Practices Commission, including transcripts of hearings and exhibits concerning the inquiry into the economic, legal, technological, marketing, and administrative practices of telecommunications companies in Canada.

This fonds consists of material reflecting Professor Allely's interest in and work with the Canadian Armed Forces, including mobilization planning at the University, the Joint Services University Training Committee, the Canadian Officers Training Corps, and lectures on military history. Hurley’s failing eyesight is apparent in later letters.
