Zealandia, 1909

The Zealandia Railway Station is in the forefront of the photo, with the hotel across the street. The old Highway 7 runs between the station and the hotel. Main Street can be seen on the right-hand side of the picture.

A.L. King

A.L. "Bert" King and his wife Rose were homesteaders in Rosetown area. Their daughter Laura married Walter Aseltine. In the photograph, Bert is seated on the roof of a newly constructed building, probably in Rosetown.

Harness Racing

At a fairgrounds. 8 horses with sulky's and rider (driver?) racing. Early vintage automobiles are lined up at the rails with spectators three deep hanging over the inner rail.
