His academic activities include not only his own writing in a variety of genres but also his editing, assessment and review of the contributions of others to prose, poetry, drama and film. This collection contains lecture notes taken by Dr. Roy while she was a student at the University of Saskatchewan. Predominately from English classes, these include notes on lectures given by Professors R.A. Wilson, J.M. Lothian, J.A. Bentley, Edith Brown, Jean Bayer, Murdoch Matheson, and Carlyle King. Included also are notes from a summer school art history class, taught at Emma Lake; and an English course from the University of Toronto.

This fonds contains material that documents G.M. Simpson's interests and activities during his career at the U of S. Of particular note is the extensive collection of photographs by John Diduck and Rudolph Kaul collected by Dr. Simpson documenting Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, the university and in particular the Department of Crop Science and the Crop Development Centre.

This fonds contains correspondence, newsletters, clippings, sound recordings, books, reprints, maps, periodicals, calendars, almanacs, and notes pertaining to the activities and interests of V.O. Buyniak during his career at the University of Saskatchewan. Though the material covers a broad spectrum of topics over several decades, the bulk of the material deals with aspects of Slavic language and culture.

This fonds consists primarily of lecture notes of classes in mathematics presented at the University of Toronto and Göttingen University in the late 1920s and early 1930s. The notes are from classes taught by J. Chapelon, U. Wegner, C. Krieger, R. Courant, I.R. Pounder, H. Weyl, W. Weber, Landau, and Prandtl and cover a variety of subjects, including differential geometry, function theory, complex variables, and trigonometry. The fonds also includes notes and materials related to the Faculty Club including obituaries for a number of University of Saskatchewan faculty. There are also calendars from the University of New Brunswick.

This fonds consists of minutes and correspondence relating to several College of Arts and Science committees, the Bookstore Committee, and the Departmental Committee on Teaching History in High Schools. There are also committee minutes and proposals related to the University of Saskatchewan’s plans for Canadian centennial celebrations in 1967.

This fonds focuses on the initial proposals for courses relating to women’s studies at the University of Saskatchewan, leading eventually to the development of the department of Women’s and Gender Studies. The organization reflects the description of materials provided by the donor.

This fonds consists primarily of material relating to Marketa Newman's research about Saskatchewan artists; the Newman family's experience in the Terezin concentration camp and subsequent emigration to Canada; and personal correspondence.

This collection contains correspondence relating to Fenton’s professional and private life—including a great deal of correspondence with notable artists, art dealers, and galleries. The fonds also contains working and completed drafts of his writing, and research notes, clippings, and photocopies related thereto. Working files from his periods of directorship, and from his time running Terry Fenton Art Services are also present. News clippings and articles about Fenton are dispersed throughout.
Art / travel journals are also included, as is an extensive collection of photographs and slides both documenting Fenton’s inventory of his own work, and also showing a range of art by others encountered over his career. A number of more personal photographs, slides and videos show artists at work and at play at a variety of workshops, and in a variety of settings. Digital and physical landscape photographs used for inspiration in Fenton’s painting are also present.
A large portion of the collection is comprised of Fenton’s library, which includes publications from the Edmonton Art Gallery, the Mendel Art Gallery, and the Leighton Foundation, as well as more general collected texts, works by Fenton, and an extensive collection of exhibition catalogues.
