Train Derailment Near Langham / Harness Racer Prepares for Battlefords Exhibition

File contains an image of a number of freight cars lying near the tracks following a train derailment on the Canadian National Railway line east of Langham, SK. File also contains an image of driver Sam Harlton, of Battleford, SK, working out horse "Gildy Gratton", for the upcoming harness races at the Battlefords Exhibition.

Curling Champions / New Hospital Canteen Opens

Major M.N. Manning Retires from Militia

File contains photographs of the retirement ceremony of Major M.N. Manning as he retires from the Canadian Militia. Included is an image of Sgt. Major G.H. Knowles presenting Major Manning with a silver tray at the retirement ceremony, as well as an image of Major Manning handing over command of "A" company, #1 [North Saskatchewan Regiment?] stationed at North Battleford, to Major W.R. Warick.

Members of the Saskatoon Riding Club Visit North Battleford
