Also included are a few photographs, a microfilm and cassette tapes, as well as works by others about Sorokin and his theories. Some of the material about Sorokin was added after his death.

There is also material relating to his career with the University of New Brunswick and the University of Saskatchewan, and information concerning his extensive collection of 16th - 19th century books on astronomy.

This fonds includes materials relating to Patricia Monture’s teaching, research, and professional activities on campus, as well as an extensive collection of materials relating to Indigenous rights, women’s rights, Indigenous women’s rights, the Canadian justice system, and how the Canadian justice system interacts with Aboriginal, female, and Aboriginal female offenders. The papers also explore issues of child welfare and domestic violence. A number of legal documents are included, as are materials relating to Indigenous self-governance, treaties, and the Indian Act. Also included are materials relating to Monture’s involvement in a number of national commissions including the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples, the task force on federally sentenced women, and the task force on the use of solitary confinement in federal prisons. Through Monture’s correspondence, it is possible to get a sense of what it was like working as an Indigenous woman in academia during this period.

Textual material covers several career highlights, including correspondence from Canadian universities in 1940 and subsequent job applications and offers; biographical material including oral history interviews; material relating to Luther College, including a post-Nobel congratulatory note from an influential teacher; articles by Taube and others explaining Taube’s scientific contributions; clippings and other material relating to awards, especially the Nobel Prize; and other material. Some material, particularly relating to Taube’s death, was added to the fonds by his widow Mary Alice Taube; this material includes obituaries from several newspapers, condolence letters and cards, and material relating to the memorial service at Stanford. Photographs include documentation of the Nobel Prize ceremony, including the presentation by King Carl Gustaf; other award ceremonies; international trips including to Japan, China and Taiwan as a visiting lecturer; informal photos from various years; formal portraits and head shots; giving lectures and with students; colleagues from Stanford including fellow Nobel laureates; and more.

This collection primarily consists of Laycock's addresses and articles. Among the many topics covered in this material are child and adolescent development, mental health, parent-teacher cooperation, exceptional children, and penal reform. : This fonds contains the personal records of an extended family, including photographs, correspondence, and diaries. It documents their interests, careers, and family life predominantly two generations – the Ratcliffes and McConnells. The first accrual documents the interests, careers and family of John and Doreen McConnell and their daughter, Mary Ann. It includes materials related to McConnell’s work in communications, his work for the Canadian and Saskatchewan governments, together with materials relating to his interest in the environment and social and international development issues. It also includes materials relating to his wife, Doreen, who predeceased him. The second accrual adds the records of Doreen’s parents, the Ratcliffes, which includes documents related to their personal life and interests, Elma’s travel, James’ World War I service, and family life.

This fonds contains material created or collected by Dr. Williamson during his varied career as an anthropologist, civil servant, legislator, professor, and as a consultant for various provincial, national and international organizations and governments. Although primarily documenting Dr. Williamson's work for and with the Inuit of northern Canada, this fonds includes material relating to all circumpolar countries, other aboriginal groups in Canada, international affairs, and a very broad range of topics as they relate to the north, including art and culture, physical geography, sport, environment, botany, zoology, economics, defence, etc. It includes his personal and professional correspondence, research data, articles and scholarly writing, as well as a substantial collection of reference publications.
