This collection is of early hymnals and sheet music, collected and used by the Wheatons.

This fonds contains materials primarily relating to Miquelon's career with the University of Saskatchewan. Miquelon created the first Canadian history course at the University designed for Native students; and taught numerous courses on early Canadian history and francophone Canada. These identify Miquelon as a conscientious lecturer and innovative teacher. Materials relating to Miquelon's published articles and books, as well as his unpublished conference presentations, are included. His Society and Conquest brought together in English translation many articles by French Canadian historians, making their contribution to historiography accessible to many Anglophone historians and students for the first time. His correspondence, both as student and colleague to some of the more influential Canadian historians, is of interest; as are the materials relating to University and departmental administration.

This fonds contains correspondence, diaries, published and unpublished manuscripts by Carpenter, publications by Carpenter and others and photographs. Series I deals primarily with the genealogy and history of the Carpenter, Smith and Lawrence families.

This collection contains the papers, pamphlets, reports, correspondence, and newspaper clippings which Dr. K.A.H. Buckley has collected from his involvement in the South Saskatchewan River Project. The material has been arranged according to the groupings and headings which Dr. Buckley has assigned them.

This fonds contains material pertaining to the research and instructional activities of the University's Agricultural Engineering Department. Specifically, this collection provides documentation on the development of agricultural machinery and agricultural practices in the Canadian west.

The Westcott-Hurley Collection contains many finished paintings, sketches, and experimental artworks by Hurley as well as correspondence, newspaper clippings, slides and photographs of Hurley, as well as his family, friends, and things that interested him.

The Skwara farm near Borden, Saskatchewan, has remained in the hands of a single family for over 70 years. The majority of that period – over 60 years – is documented in this fonds. In particular, as farmers such as the Skwaras are self-employed, details in income tax and Canadian Wheat Board permit books provide considerable insight into the changing nature of farming practices and the economic reality of farming over time. Blacksmithing costs; beekeeping; the nature of the crops being grown; diversification through livestock; cost (and availability) of transient help; and the number of acres under cultivation all combine to tell not only the personal story of one farm family, but also farming as a business. A plow, purchased in 1945 for $10.50, is replaced in 1950 by one costing $345.00; a tractor in 1967 cost more than a house in 1961.

Documents in the fonds relate to the National Research Council - International Biological Program Natural Area Survey - Conservation Terrestrial Saskatchewan Region. Most regions of Canada had an IBP Committee working toward the establishment of a Natural Area system. The Sask. provincial program started in 1968. Fieldwork began in 1969 with 95 areas were selected for the inventory.

This collection contains research notes, diaries, and printed material dealing with entomology (in particular, the study of midges), bonsai, and the classification of birds. The photographic material includes subjects relating to Saunder's research; views from his extensive travels (including Egypt [1932]; Ceylon [1932]; Brazil [1923]; Hong Kong and the Far East [1932]; and North America, particularly Emma Lake [1939-1943].

This fonds contains numerous of Marie Elyse St. George’s prints and sketches, together with some textual records relating to print-making and writing.

The fonds consists primarily of material relating to Bietenholz's research and writing. In particular, the fonds includes copies of some of his own publications, offprints by others, files (notes, photocopies, etc.) relating to some of his books and papers, offprints and research material relating to Erasmus, and correspondence relating to publishing and research activities, including visits to African and Asian universities.

This fonds contains material relating to the writing and production of four books on radiation chemistry over the period 1960 to 1994. When it appeared, An Introduction to Radiation Chemistry by J.W.T. Spinks and R.J. Woods was the first textbook in English to attempt to bring the various strands of radiation chemistry in one place. Revised editions were published in 1976 and 1990. In 1994 R.J. Woods and A.K. Pikaev collaborated to publish Applied Radiation Chemistry: Radiation Processing. In addition to illustrating the advancements in radiation chemistry over four decades, the material also illustrates the advancing technology available to scientific writers over the period 1960 to 1993.
