The short course was held at Brunskill school from August 19 to 24. Above, Mrs. Franko is shown urging the young students to repeat phrases in Ukrainian."

The Saskatchewan Bulletin, September 3, 1968, p. 6; "Mrs. Anna Ingham, right, makes a point as she conducts an STF sponsored workshop on individualized reading at Columbia School in Yorkton this summer. Over 70 teachers from various parts of the province took part in the workshop which lasted from August 19 to 23. Mrs. Ingham has been given permission by her board to take time to conduct sessions on her blended sight-sound method of reading, and this year, as in other years, she will again be involved in a number of in-service classes."

Students attending the individualized instruction workshop gave teachers the opportunity to work in a real classroom situation. No one seemed to mind the interruption in summer holidays, for student applications far exceeded the number that could be accommodated."
