The buildings that you can see are the Cancer Society building, Mahon Law Office, Bowling Alley, Pineland Seed, Melfort Funeral Home; on north side you can see Civic centre (fire hall was in the south end); you Can see an apartment building and the new fire hall doors are bright orange. This building was later moved to Saskatchewan Avenue.

Some of the other buildings in the photo are The Post Office, Jan Millan Tailor, J. Lep Shoe Repair, Hatton and Co., The second hand store. You can also see the Commercial Hotel on Burrows Ave. There is a horse and wagon on the street.
