This series contains correspondence with writers and publishers, and a listing of Robert Currie's submissions to various publications. Copies of works submitted are also included.

4. Editorial work

This series consists of records of Robert Currie's editorial work, both published and unpublished. Included are the records of the literary magazine 'Salt', which was started by Currie.

This series contains Robert Currie's copies of records related to Thunder Creek Publishing Co-operative and Coteau Books.

6. Associations, Events, Lectures

This series contains materials related to Robert Currie's involvement with the Festival of Words, the Saskatchewan Writers Guild, and various literary events.

This series consists of memorabilia related to awards and literary events, as well as reviews and articles about Robert Currie.

II. Lectures

This series consists of notes and overheads for John King's Biology 835.3 Genetic Approaches to Plant Physiology course, which was based closely on his book The Genetic Basis of Plant Physiological Processes.

III. Writings

This series consists of offprints authored and co-authored by John King; photographs used in his book The Genetic Basis of Plant Physiological Processes (1991), and correspondence, notes and drafts of Reaching for the Sun (1997).

This series consists of research conducted and directed by John King. It includes the following sub-series: Experiment binders; Other experiments; Cultures; Media; MSc Student and Post doctoral Fellows Research; and Sabbatical work.

IV. Reference Materials

This series consists of offprints, photocopies of articles, and two different indices to research articles gathered by John King. The articles have been arranged into general alphabetical order by the last name of the first listed author. One index is to research for The Genetic Basis of Plant Physiological Processes. A second index is related to research for John King's 1990's work on whole plant mutants. The articles referred to in the indices are not in the collection.

Personal correspondence

This series contains correspondence between Peter Millard and Ken Carpenter, Patrick Hayman and Sheila Layton. There is also correspondence with various individuals dealing with the life and work of Frances Hodgkins.

Sexual discrimination

This series contains correspondence, minutes, clippings and articles concerning sexual discrimination, homosexuality, Place Riel, the Doug Wilson case and the North Battleford based Catholic magazine "Our Family" publication of articles on homosexuality and AIDS. One file contains correspondence to and from Dr. Millard in his capacity as President of the Saskatchewan Association of Human Rights.
