This fonds documents Professor Hammer's research interests (including much data from Saskatchewan and Alberta lakes) and publication record. Also included is material relating to Dr. Hammer's service with such groups as the Water Studies Institute and the Saskatchewan Environmental Society and a file of minutes and memoranda documenting his term as Biology Department Head.

This fonds contains materials documenting the personal and academic life of David Farmer. The bulk of the academic, research, and reference material deals with the history of agriculture, prices, and marketing in England and during the Middle Ages.

The fonds includes records documenting Isabelle Mills’ career as a professor at the University of Saskatchewan, a doctoral candidate at Columbia University, and a teacher at Brandon College. Her strong interest in and promotion of Canadian music is reflected in a broad collection of musical scores, including relatively early sheet music; correspondence relating to the Canadian Music Centre; records relating to courses taught and Canadian music concerts organized; and other material including a variety of general information about Canadian music and composers. Her role as director of the Quance Chorus at the University of Saskatchewan is documented by a fairly complete set of concert programs and a selection of audio tapes of concerts. There are also records relating to church music (including a variety of United Church of Canada hymn books); records relating to Canadian music; musical scores including piano, vocal and choral music. There is also material relating to her research and extension/community service activities, including her lecture tour to the Ukraine and the Buxtehude/Scheidt Festival and Conference; material relating to her role as Assistant Dean; and other material including personal memorabilia and administrative correspondence.

This fonds contains correspondence; minutes; reports; working papers; briefs and submissions; both for the Advisory Planning Committee on Medical Care, and for the Oil and Gas Conservation Board. Additionally, there is material from Thompsons's tenure as President of the University of Saskatchewan; material related to the International Botanical Congress and the International Congress of Genetics; and several reference books, primarily dealing with Medicare in Canada and abroad.

Equivalent in scope to the Presidential or Vice-presidential records, this fonds specifically documents the administration of the Saskatoon campus from 1967-1974, and includes correspondence, reports, minutes, and memoranda. It also includes considerable documentation of the various administrative committees functioning during this period.

This fonds contains building files from the early years of the University (1916-1949). These files include correspondence with the architect, contractor, superintendent of buildings, architect's representative as well as progress estimates, reports on work completed, and inspection reports. Also included are approximately 1300 slides detailing every element of the original administration building and architectural drawings of campus buildings and a computer tape backup of the scanned architectural plans and drawings.

This fonds contains correspondence, memoranda, minutes, agenda, reports, clippings, surveys, and studies pertaining to the administration and development of the University Library system.

Fonds consists of personal and professional papers created by Margaret Messer. Arranged in six series (Education, General, Teaching, Organizations, Publications, and Scrapbooks) the records document her activities as a teacher, art educator, writer, and illustrator, as well as her own education and training and her involvement with several professional groups. A large part of the collection contains information on art education programs at Balfour Technical School (1945-1974) and at the University of Saskatchewan, Regina Campus (ca. 1966-1984) where she was a significant influence on program development. Of particular note is the series of publications which includes articles and books written or illustrated by Messer (1946-1973). Publications of the Saskatchewan Society for Education through Art (SSEA) are found in the Organizations series, along with papers, correspondence, conference materials, minutes, newsletters, and other records pertaining to her involvement with the SSEA (1961-1985), the Canadian Society for Education through Art (1962-1984), the Saskatchewan Arts Board (1947-1970), and others. General Files (1927-1986), containing biographical information, art commissions, personal and professional correspondence, curriculum materials, travel logs, drawings by Messer, and memorabilia, provide additional insight into her life and career.

Fonds consists of the personal and professional papers created by English professor and writer, Ken Mitchell. Although the series arrangement varies from accession to accession, the great bulk of the records relate to his prolific literary career. These include drafts, correspondence, notes, revisions, proofs, reviews, publicity materials, research materials, manuscripts, scripts, outlines, contracts, publications, scrapbooks, posters, audio visual materials, background information, and financial records which fully document the development of Mitchell's writing projects, dramatic performances, and radio, film, and television productions. Complimenting the literary papers are business correspondence, as well as files relating to Mitchell's involvement with various professional associations and professional activities such as speeches, readings, workshops, and tours. Correspondence class materials, student papers and other records document Mitchell's teaching activities, chiefly with the English Department at the University of Regina. The fonds also includes personal correspondence, personal financial records, biographical information, daily planners, and files relating to Mitchell's political activities with the New Democratic Party.

Fonds consists of personal and professional papers chronicling the artistic and academic career of Doug Morton. Included are: Original drawings and sketches; Photographs and slides depiciting family, friends, artists, exhibitions and studios, and works of art by Doug Morton and others; and publications including exhibition catalogues, invitations, articles, publicity material, and clippings relating to Morton and other artists. A series of general files contain personal and business correspondence, biographical information, financial records, material relating to Morton's art projects, speaking engagements, jurying activities, and professional associatiions, and to his various work appointments.

Fonds consists of information on all the exhibitions held at Neutral ground from 1982-1990, with a few exceptions. The collection also contains photographs, slides, and posters.
