Picnic on the grass

Two women and one man on blankets spread on the grass. One girl is biting into a cucumber. Picnic items in the picture: a whole pineapple, lard pails, syrup pails. Fashion of the teens: all are wearing hats. Early Model T car partially shown (brass frame, acetylene lights, white tires).

Conlin & Evans place of business

Located on 100 block east side on Rosetown's Main Street. The business sold and maintained farm machinery. Six men are seated on the sidewalk dressed in suits, ties, hats. Most appear to be wearing ankle boots with laces.

A group of people

Mostly unidentified, this group wearing dressy clothing is posed on grass under trees. Back row, 2nd from right end: Wallace McDougald. Listed as being in the picture but not placed: Grandma Adnam, McVicar - MP, Wally's brother killed in the war.

A.D. Fletcher

Small portrait of A.D. Fletcher taken in Havelock, Ont. He was born in Bensfort, Ont. April 1875 and died in 1955. He came to Zealandia in 1906. He was the grandfather of Robert Franklin. John (Johnny) Franklin was an uncle of Robert Franklin.
