Plane Crash - Humboldt

This plane crash occured ten kilometers southeast of Humboldt. A Royal Canadian Air Force plane from the Dafoe Air Force Base crashed into a team of horses driven by Alois Fahl. Three occupants of the plane were killed and Alois was seriously injured.

Pavilion - Stoney Lake

The beach pavilion overlooking the lake located ten kilometers south of Humboldt. On August 26, 1956, the official name of Humboldt Lake was given to Stoney Lake. This was to alleviate confusion as many lakes were called Stoney Lake.
