A copy of Sir Robert Borden's memorandum for the British Empire Delegation to the Covenant of the League of Nations, 13 March 1919.

This fonds contains abstracts, research reports, and articles, including research on soil structure analysis, soils and roots, chemical herbicides, and weed control. It also includes a copy of Dr. Pavlychenko's thesis, "Root Systems of Certain Forage Crops in Relation to the Management of Agricultural Soils" and lecture notes, bibliographies, list of references and background material, including precipitation records from 1920-1950. In addition, there is a considerable amount of correspondence, both with individuals such as L.E. Kirk, G.D. Fuller, H. Ohorodnyk, and Premier Stewart Garson of Manitoba, as well as with various associations and companies, including the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Bureau of Plant Industry, and the Canadian Pacific Railway (specifically concerning weed control on railway rights of way). The fonds also contains the 35 mm black and white film "Roots in the Ground" and two video tape dubs. of that film

This collection includes Elliott's notes, some class handouts, and various texts.

The fonds primarily consists of material about Max Jacob compiled and organized by Maria Green, based on research in libraries and archives in North America and Europe. This includes correspondence, writings by and about Jacob, drawings by Jacob, works with references to Jacob, and Green’s index cards including an extensive set of subject-based cards. There is also some material relating to Green’s work (edited collections, articles, awards, etc.).
Where possible, the order established by Green has been maintained, based on available file lists and numbering on file folders. The fonds is organized as follows:

a. Memo of the Proceedings of the Imperial Conference held in London in the summer of 1921. These notes are not to be regarded as a carefully prepared summary of these proceedings. They merely record salient statements and happenings of the Conference.
b. Diary kept by Mr. John W. Dafoe who accompanied the Prime Minister and the Canadian Delegation to the Imperial Conference of 1923.

This fonds contains material created or collected by Dr. Williamson during his varied career as an anthropologist, civil servant, legislator, professor, and as a consultant for various provincial, national and international organizations and governments. Although primarily documenting Dr. Williamson's work for and with the Inuit of northern Canada, this fonds includes material relating to all circumpolar countries, other aboriginal groups in Canada, international affairs, and a very broad range of topics as they relate to the north, including art and culture, physical geography, sport, environment, botany, zoology, economics, defence, etc. It includes his personal and professional correspondence, research data, articles and scholarly writing, as well as a substantial collection of reference publications.

This fonds contains correspondence, reports, publications and memoranda relating to the research activities of Herman Austenson, as well as some administrative records relating to the department of Crop Science and Plant Ecology, and the research activities of the Crop Development Centre. Some of the materials were created by J.B. Harrington; these files have been identified whenever possible.

This fonds consists primarily of lecture notes created by E.F.L. Whitmore for courses he taught at the College of Law. The subjects include income tax, practice, equity, taxation, labour law, Surrogate Court, and wills. The fonds also includes copies of examinations for several courses.

This fonds contains extensive material relating to Britnell's work on various Royal Commissions, associations, national and international conferences, including reports, minutes, submissions, and notes. In addition, it contains his personal correspondence, notes from lectures (by Frank Underhill and Harold Laski), articles, and press clippings.

This fonds contains correspondence, reports, articles, newspaper clippings, and the research material. Included are several files of photographs, documenting horse pulling contests, construction of a rammed-earth building, and agricultural machinery. The files on the American Society of Agricultural Engineers contain minute books, by-laws, manuals, a student branch history, and reports.

This letter pertains to Galsworthy's forward to Far Away and Long Ago and to Green Mansions, and to his postscript in A Little Boy Lost.

A number of letters dealing with the management of Mrs. Palmer’s landholdings and agricultural operations there during the early years of the Great Depression.

This fonds contains a brief journal from a field season (4 June to 12 October) when Mawdsley worked for the Geological Survey of Canada, [between 1924-1929] in northern Quebec; together with memorabilia including a miner's lamp and helmet, and an embossing stamp.

This collection primarily consists of Laycock's addresses and articles. Among the many topics covered in this material are child and adolescent development, mental health, parent-teacher cooperation, exceptional children, and penal reform. Additionally, it contains some biographical information, including a taped interview (1970) and the article, "My Work in the Mental Health Field, 1940-1970."

This fonds relates to the lives of siblings or descendants of RHD Phillips and Tanyss (Bell) Phillips. Robert Howard Daniel (“Bob”) Phillips (1921-2006) was a journalist. He joined the staff of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool as a research analyst, and later became the editor and publisher of the Western Producer. He married Tanyss Bell in 1951. Tanyss (1926-2016) was an economist who worked in the research department of the Bank of Canada, with the Saskatchewan Royal Commission on Agriculture and Rural Life, as a lecturer at the University of Regina, and as a contract editor. Both were alumni of the University of Saskatchewan.
