This fonds contains biographical material, including a Paul family history and reminiscences and anecdotes by L.C. Paul, as well as several of his articles. In addition, there is both the manuscript and published version of the History of Extension (1910-1970), and a file on the Retired Faculty Association. The addendum contains clippings and article pertaining to the history of agriculture and agricultural science in Western Canada.

This fonds contains several drafts of the play "Chokecherry Wine (or the Hafford Wedding Caper)" including the version edited for high schools; material concerning the arrangements and expenses for the 1974 Strolling Players tour, as well as a diary of their 1975 tour.

This fonds contains Professor Arnason's genealogy; correspondence regarding W.P. Thompson's retirement; material relating to the planning and formal opening of the Biology Building; and information concerning the Faculty Association.

The primary focus of the material deals with photochemistry (a branch of chemistry having to do with the effect of radiant energy, especially light, in producing chemical action). This fonds contains correspondence, reports, publications and memoranda relating to the research activities of Herman Austenson, as well as some administrative records relating to the department of Crop Science and Plant Ecology, and the research activities of the Crop Development Centre. Some of the materials were created by J.B. Harrington; these files have been identified whenever possible.

This fonds contains reports, addresses, and articles by Haslam, as well as reprints of articles and dissertation summaries produced by the Department of Physics Betatron Group, 1951-1956. Additionally, it contains correspondence, membership lists, submissions, and clippings related to the Association of Retired Faculty.

This fonds contains records relating to teaching, including notes for lectures, and student records and marks. Following Bateman’s death, the University published a memorial volume of his writing, including some poems, lectures, essays (among them, on war), and correspondence.

This fonds contains questionnaire forms from a survey of individual Winnipeg homes carried out between May and July of 1949. They contain information such as number of occupants, type of heating used, etc. There are also graph analysis of insulation tests carried out on behalf of the National Research Council (NRC) in 1929 and 1930.

The bulk of this fondsl deals with the career of Richard Rempel and post-career project, the biography of the University of Saskatchewan’s third President, W.P. Thompson. This fonds also contains materials relating to the Rempel family, to the academic careers of Jacob and Richard Rempel and to the University of Saskatchewan. In particular, it provides the most extensive source available to date relating to Richard Rempel and Charles Lightbody.

This fonds contains materials relating to Dr. Harding's scholarly work, including his thorough preparation and background work for his teaching; his correspondence with colleagues; his articles and conference papers; and drafts and notes for the Coleridge "Notebooks."

This fonds contains information concerning various professional associations, including the American, Canadian, and Saskatchewan Psychological Associations; Government departments and agencies, such as the Defense Research Board, the Women's Bureau, and the National Research Council; and the Royal Commission on Health Services. There are also several files of lecture and research notes (including work done with Dr. Jaques), personal correspondence, and departmental material, including reports, curriculum, recruitment, and promotion; as well as two of Dr. McMurray's abstracts: "Theories of Pain and Congenital Universal Insensitivity to Pain" and "The Background of Thought and Language."

This fonds contains several files relating to early town planning in Western Canada, including Calgary, Camrose, Lacombe, Magrath, and Wainright, Alberta; Churchill, Manitoba; and Kindersley, Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, and Yorkton, Saskatchewan. It also includes a miscellaneous file of speeches and addresses, correspondence regarding Mackenzie's military career, and a file on the Canadian Institute of International Affairs.

This fonds primarily contains material relating to the research activities of E.Y. Spencer, including chemical analysis of various grains; silicates; sterols; synthetic proteins; solvent extractions from lignites; and an analysis of freshwater fish. Additionally, there is some material concerning various national and provincial organizations, including the Chemical Institute of Canada; the National Research Council; and the American Association of Cereal Chemists.

This fonds contains material relating to the personal and professional life of Gerhard Herzberg and his wife, Luise Herzberg. In particular, it contains correspondence with family, friends and colleagues, most notably from the period 1933-1949. Some articles are included.
