Also included is correspondence and submissions to the Canadian Journal of History, an academic journal of non-Canadian history published by the department.

The collection consists of a range of documents relating to Congregational, Methodist, Presbyterian churches and related activities in Saskatchewan and elsewhere in the prairies.

The fonds consists of file folders that contain the original compiled information that was used by the 17 local residents that comprised the History Book Committee who compiled and published “Indian Head: History of Indian Head and District” in 1984 (ISBN: 0-919781-26-8). This fonds contains source photos and documents that were used in the compilation of the book. The file folders also contain materials that did not make it into the history book and may be of use to archival researchers.
The top two drawers contain local family histories in alphabetical order, while the third drawer contain files with other aspects of Indian Head history (agricultural history, religion, recreation, organizations, military, education, etc.)

The Skwara farm near Borden, Saskatchewan, has remained in the hands of a single family for over 70 years. The majority of that period – over 60 years – is documented in this fonds. In particular, as farmers such as the Skwaras are self-employed, details in income tax and Canadian Wheat Board permit books provide considerable insight into the changing nature of farming practices and the economic reality of farming over time. Blacksmithing costs; beekeeping; the nature of the crops being grown; diversification through livestock; cost (and availability) of transient help; and the number of acres under cultivation all combine to tell not only the personal story of one farm family, but also farming as a business. A plow, purchased in 1945 for $10.50, is replaced in 1950 by one costing $345.00; a tractor in 1967 cost more than a house in 1961.

This collection consists of electronic audio and video recordings collected for the 150 Stories Oral History Project. The project involved interviewing members of Regina's Indigenous community.

In addition, there is both the manuscript and published version of the History of Extension (1910-1970), and a file on the Retired Faculty Association. The addendum contains clippings and article pertaining to the history of agriculture and agricultural science in Western Canada.

The fonds consists of Dr. Hayter’s research material and notes relating to the history of radiology, radiotherapy, and cancer control, primarily accumulated during the research that culminated in "An Element of Hope".
