Small portrait of A.D. Fletcher taken in Havelock, Ont. He was born in Bensfort, Ont. April 1875 and died in 1955. He came to Zealandia in 1906. He was the grandfather of Robert Franklin. John (Johnny) Franklin was an uncle of Robert Franklin.

Mr. A.N. Swetman, one of the first surveyors to the area, stands in front of Zealandia's first post office, a sod and wooden structure. It was located near the present site of Zealandia.
