The fonds is comprised of small press gardening publications and offprints collected by Maginnes, as well as videos on his subjects of interest. This fonds primarily consists of agendas, minutes, notices of meetings, and publications from Canadian Institute of International Affairs (CIIA) branches across Canada and the Royal Institute of International Affairs (RIIA) in London. The fonds also includes a small amount of correspondence to and from Dr. Graham, who was Secretary-Treasurer for the Saskatoon branch of CIIA, relating to the organization of meetings of the Saskatoon branch, arranging for speakers, and collecting membership fees. There are also invoices and receipts for events held by the Saskatoon branch.

Hurley’s failing eyesight is apparent in later letters.
