Fonds consists of working files, correspondence, lists, plans, drawings, sketches and photographs pertaining to the planning and execution of landscaping at the U of S Saskatoon and Regina Campuses as well as St. Joseph College in Yorkton.

They are not limited to buildings, but include available building sites, roads and walks, landscaping and some graphics. In addition, it includes images of other university campus from around North America, and some from Europe.

This collection contains Christmas cards, notes and letters, ephemera and clippings sent from Ernie to Johanna over a period of years. A small amount of material is from J.W.T. Spinks.

The largest segment of the fonds is Maginnes’ collection of 35mm slides, which feature lecture slides and images related to his greenhouse work, images of his sabbatical trips to Denmark, Sweden, and Japan, and personal family images.

This fonds primarily consists of agendas, minutes, notices of meetings, and publications from Canadian Institute of International Affairs (CIIA) branches across Canada and the Royal Institute of International Affairs (RIIA) in London. The fonds also includes a small amount of correspondence to and from Dr. Graham, who was Secretary-Treasurer for the Saskatoon branch of CIIA, relating to the organization of meetings of the Saskatoon branch, arranging for speakers, and collecting membership fees. There are also invoices and receipts for events held by the Saskatoon branch.

A number of Hurley’s letters and cards include sketches, pictograms, and “Hurleyniks”. The personal correspondence includes updates on personal achievements, activities and health concerns. Hurley’s failing eyesight is apparent in later letters.
