This fonds contains material created or collected by Dr. Williamson during his varied career as an anthropologist, civil servant, legislator, professor, and as a consultant for various provincial, national and international organizations and governments. Although primarily documenting Dr. Williamson's work for and with the Inuit of northern Canada, this fonds includes material relating to all circumpolar countries, other aboriginal groups in Canada, international affairs, and a very broad range of topics as they relate to the north, including art and culture, physical geography, sport, environment, botany, zoology, economics, defence, etc. It includes his personal and professional correspondence, research data, articles and scholarly writing, as well as a substantial collection of reference publications.

The material in this fonds consists largely of scripts, clippings, photographs and ephemera pertaining to Bakker’s involvement in theatre in the province of Saskatchewan, and Canada at large. Materials highlighting Bakker’s career are included, as are materials pertaining to her involvement in various theatrical professional organizations. Some personal materials have also been retained.

This fonds contains records mainly related to Sylvia’s time as Lieutenant Governor, with correspondence, invitations, clippings, photographs and memorabilia. It also includes documents from her career as a physicist including correspondence, notes, and clippings. Clippings, photographs, and correspondence relating to Sylvia’s involvement in sports is included – predominantly curling and golf, but also fishing, baseball, basketball, and track and field. There is extensive photography and other materials documenting her travels around the world, as well as gatherings with friends and family.

Equivalent in scope to the Presidential or Vice-presidential records, this fonds specifically documents the administration of the Saskatoon campus from 1967-1974, and includes correspondence, reports, minutes, and memoranda. It also includes considerable documentation of the various administrative committees functioning during this period.

This fonds contains biographical material, including a Paul family history and reminiscences and anecdotes by L.C. Paul, as well as several of his articles. In addition, there is both the manuscript and published version of the History of Extension (1910-1970), and a file on the Retired Faculty Association. The addendum contains clippings and article pertaining to the history of agriculture and agricultural science in Western Canada.

This fonds contains materials relating to Beach’s academic career and interests in psychology, human behaviour, and counseling; as well as material relating to World War II, conflict in general, and behaviour under various forms of stress.

This fonds contains correspondence, clippings, photographs, video tape and graphic material pertaining to the activities and interests of Glenn Makahonuk during his career at the University of Saskatchewan.

The records of both SED Systems and Biostar include board minutes, financial statements, annual reports, correspondence, and memoranda.

The textual series contains mainly publications that were owned by the Avenue Community Centre which focus on LGBTQ issues and health. The poster series contains a variety of feminist and lesbian themed posters from the 1970’s –through the 1980’s, many of which are from Saskatchewan and Saskatoon in particular, although other locations are included.

This fonds contains audio visual material relating to politics. Primarily interviews, speeches, and some produced content. Both recorded from radio/television, and possibly some that appear to be recorded first hand.

This fonds documents the career of Douglas Schmeiser, notably his work as a constitutional advisor both in Canada and internationally; his work with the Law Reform Commission of Saskatchewan, as well as his study of judicial independence and judicial compensation; and his work on human rights.

This fonds contains materials relating to Sophia Dixon's interests in international relations; the various ideologies current in the 1930s and 1940s, notably labour and worker's rights, socialism, communism, social credit, and the rise of fascism during this period; local and international women's organizations, etc. In particular, this fonds provides a comprehensive record of the early Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) in Saskatchewan and Canada; the Farmer-Labor Group, Saskatchewan Farmer's Union, and United Farmers of Canada. Also included is a series of books and other reference materials collected by Charles and Sophia Dixon.

This fonds contains correspondence, legal documents, articles, journals, speeches, radio broadcasts, case studies, briefs, minutes, reports, memoranda, and legislation pertaining to the personal, legal, academic and public interests and activities of F.C. Cronkite.

This fonds reflects Holmlund’s interest in the philosophy of education, his varied career at the University of Saskatchewan, and his concern for an equitable society. It is particularly valuable as a source for university history, specifically for the period of Leo Kristjanson’s tenure; and for issues surrounding health delivery, education, and the College of Medicine; the development of computer / IT services on campus; and First Nations educational opportunities. As a reflection of planning at a post-secondary U-15 institution, this fonds is particularly strong, notably for the materials surrounding the Issues and Options project.
