Social Gathering in Langenburg

Smokejumper

"Smoke Jumper: 32 foot drag chute used in training on the ground. This teaches smokejumpers how to collapse his chute on landing in high winds, thereby preventing him from being injured by dragging."

Science 1961-70 - Science Fair Project

The Saskatchewan Bulletin, Oct. 1961, p. 35; "Summer School Science Fair." (no cutline) A Science Fair project, the "Six Basic Principles of Machines" included are a pulley, a wedge, an inclined plane, a screw, a lever, and a wheel and axle. This project was done by "Class A - Clarissa Hilts + Agnes Goodman."
