This fonds contains materials relating to Arscott's work; his involvement with the Progressive Conservative Party and later disillusionment with the mainstream parties and his activities with the Rhinoceros Party; his extended family; his war service;and reminiscences of growing up in Saskatoon, attending the University, and local and political figures. Particularly extensive is his writing: creative; satire; and memoirs.

Fonds consists of files generated by Susan Whitney Gallery Ltd, a private art gallery located in Regina, Saskatchewan. These records relate to the exhibitions and selling of art by such regional artists as Joe Fafard, David Thauberger, Russ yuristy, Bill Lobchuck, Don Proch, and Tony Tascona, among others, and such folk artists as W.C. This fonds contains materials relating to Sophia Dixon's interests in international relations; the various ideologies current in the 1930s and 1940s, notably labour and worker's rights, socialism, communism, social credit, and the rise of fascism during this period; local and international women's organizations, etc. In particular, this fonds provides a comprehensive record of the early Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) in Saskatchewan and Canada; the Farmer-Labor Group, Saskatchewan Farmer's Union, and United Farmers of Canada. Also included is a series of books and other reference materials collected by Charles and Sophia Dixon.

The Collection contains black and white photographs from Ruth Marshall's private collection. All of the photographs are of Melfort businesses and streets including the water tower, train station, and Sask-Tel building.

The Rosetown General Photograph Collection spans approximately ten decades of the history of Rosetown and district, consisting of photographs taken by and collected by the Rosetown Centennial Library Archives.
