Head and shoulders image of Alfred F. Deverell, professor of Education, 1950-1974.
Bio/Historical Note: Alfred Frederick Deverell was born in 1908 in Heather Brae, Alberta. He received both his BA (1939) and his BEd (1946) from the University of Alberta, and went on to do graduate work at Stanford University, receiving his EdD in 1950. He joined the University of Saskatchewan in 1950 as associate professor, and was made full professor in 1964. He retired in June 1974. Deverell died in 1992 in Victoria, British Columbia.
