This fonds contains the original typescript of ‘Moose Jaw City Transit: An Alternative Route: A Private Study’. This study was completed in 1981by a local citizen and completed independently from the study conducted by IBI Group Consultants commissioned by City Council. It conducts a review of previous studies, financial information, and relevant literature. The study provides recommendations for the improvement of the Moose Jaw transit system. There is no author printed on the report.
This fonds consists of the constitution (1932), minutes of meetings from 1947 to 1965, financial statements for the years 1951,1957,1960,1961,1963, annual reports 1939 to1942 and 1951 to 1952. There is correspondence referring to a mute boy who saved a man from carbon monoxide poisoning. Included is a history of John Chisholm School.

There is information from and about the several affiliate organizations of the Moose Jaw Agricultural Society.

This fonds consists of three books: Wehman Bros.’ New Book of 153 Tricks, and Morang’s Modern Phonic Primer: Part 1 & 2. Morang’s Modern Phonic Primers were “authorized by the Minister of Education for use in the public schools of Ontario”. Mary Harding’s name is inscribed on both part 1 & 2 and the books are heavily annotated.
This fonds contains a bible that was presented at the dedication of the Marquis United Church in Marquis, Saskatchewan on October 17, 1937. The bible was presented by Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. Hurd. The bible was one of few items to survive and be recovered from the fire.
This fonds contains the thirtieth anniversary program for St. Michael and All Angels Church, signed by Marjorie Fowler. It includes a school group assignment completed in part Marjorie called “Empire Eight”. The assignment is a monthly magazine and she is listed as manager on the front page. She also wrote a brief history of the assignment as well as the members of her group, some teachers and a few memories of Moose Jaw. This is dated 1985.
