The Marquis United Church was built in 1937 and was located in Marquis, Saskatchewan. It burned down in 1954.

Scope and content
This fonds contains a bible that was presented at the dedication of the Marquis United Church in Marquis, Saskatchewan on October 17, 1937. The bible was presented by Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. Hurd. The bible was one of few items to survive and be recovered from the fire.

The bible’s ribbon markeris burned, presumably from the fire.
