United Church

Textual and photographic records the United Church at Indian Head and district. The United Church was formed as a unification of Methodists and Presbyterians in 1925.

Fliip-up calendar with one month on each bottom page. The top facing page has a photograph of St. Andrew's United Church with the inscription: Rev. R.G. Carruthers - Minister. People's names are printed on their birthdays. Indian Head businesses and their phone numbers appear on each month.

Indian Head Methodist Church

A street view of the Indian Head Methodist Church, built in 1898 on the northeast corner of the intersection of Dewdney and Boyle Streets. It was sold to the Odd Fellows Lodge after the Methodists and Presbyterians merged as the United Church in 1925. It was destroyed by fire in 1949.
