The manuscript "In Praise of Prairie Women" was based on stories of women shared by United Church congregations, at the invitation of St. Andrew's College, in 1980. Series consists of files regarding the title to various church properties, including churches and manses, in Saskatchewan Conference (region), as well as general correspondence relating to property. Contents include correspondence, reports, financial records, and loan and grants documents.
Within the series, there are four sub-groupings: Titles; General; Manses; and Charges. "Property - TItles" files (no. 517 through 529) are mostly listed by type and contain correspondence pertaining to titles of church properties. "Property - General" files (530 through 549) are sorted alphabetically by topic and contain general correspondence pertaining to church properties. "Property - Manses" files (550 through 554) are sorted by sub-topics, e.g. furnishings, and contain correspondence and reports pertaining the furnishing, financing and modernization of manses. "Property - Charge" files (555 through 872) are organized by Pastoral Charge, from Aberdeen through Young-Zelma, and contain: general correspondence pertaining to properties held by particular charges in Sask. Conference; applications for loans and grants; building plans; financial statements; and annual reports. Photographs are also noted in this group.

Student Missionaries, 1952-1980

Series consists of files relating to student ministers and the various charges they worked with, in Saskatchewan Conference. Contents include: reports of students in mission fields; correspondence pertaining to funding and expenses, appointment of student missionaries and work done by student missionaries on mission charges; reports pertaining to conditions in charge or field that student missionaries served during the summer; family lists from fields compiled by student missionaries; Student Field Application forms; reports of supervising pastors; and student evaluations of missionary work.
The fonds consists of textual materials generated by the Presbytery, its secretaries, committees and related bodies, in fulfillment of their responsibilities, as outlined in the Manual of the United Church of Canada.
Contents include meeting minutes (1922-1953), correspondence and a history, "Early history of religious services in the Abernethy
Presbytery" (2 pages, no date indicated).
