This fonds consists of the history, constitution, minutes of meetings and financial records of the Princess Patricia Club. There are eleven scrapbooks containing primarily newspaper clippings and some photographs of the Club’s history, business and activities.
This collection contains two scrapbooks created by Dorothy May Miller. The scrapbooks contain newspaper clippings about Moose Jaw from the Moose Jaw Times Herald. The topics covered include: Moose Jaw Old Timers’ Reunions, Royal family, historical articles and pictures of Saskatchewan, among others.
This fonds contains one ledger belonging to A. W. Irwin. This ledger contains the accounts of his insurance and real estate business from 1910-1911. It includes his client lists and account information. Irwin sold various kinds of insurance, such as life and fire insurance, as well as real estate. He also offered mortgages and loans. The ledger also includes the personal account of Irwin.
This fonds reflects the historical research and writing conducted by Richard Dowson. Dowson has completed extensive research on Moose Jaw during WWII. It includes writings on George William ‘Bill’ Ward, a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force, and the history of Moose Jaw residents in relation to the sinking of the Line Athenia. It also includes the history of the Moose Jaw Dam-buster Airmen, Sergeant-Pilot Kenneth Brown and Pilot Officer Robert Alexander Urquhart.
This collection consists of thirty-three sets of blueprints and technical drawings for homes, businesses, and schools in Moose Jaw and area, primarily from the early 1900's and 1920's. Many of the drawings are “proposed” plans and the building may have never been constructed.
This fonds contains tax assessments and notices of Mary E. Horn pertaining to land she purchased in Moose Jaw. It also includes a land plot advertisement, as well as correspondences and receipts regarding the land purchase.
This fonds consists of minutes of meetings, correspondence, reports of services and activities, membership and volunteer services as well as scrapbooks of newspaper clippings and photographs of the business, activities and history of the International, Canadian, and local Red Cross. The minutes are complete from the inaugural meeting held in 1914 to the final meeting in 1991 when the Moose Jaw office closed.
