Nite Hawk Theatre newsclippings

Two articles about the Nite Hawk Theatre (now the Grand Theatre). The first, from July 5, 1975 is about the raising of the drive-in screen one mile south of Indian Head. The second, from Nov 20, 1987 is from the Regina Leader-Post about owner Harold (Sparky) Clarke and the difficulties of keeping a small-town movie theatre going.

Drama group - scripts

Small folder with the published script of Gilbert and Sullivan's HMS Pinafore (handwritten at top front: "Doris Shelford"); the program for a Robbie Burns night; the handwritten script for a Christmas program. On the front of the folder, handwritten in pencil: "Scripts - Xmas 9; Burns 10; Play 11"

Indian Head Methodist Church

A street view of the Indian Head Methodist Church, built in 1898 on the northeast corner of the intersection of Dewdney and Boyle Streets. It was sold to the Odd Fellows Lodge after the Methodists and Presbyterians merged as the United Church in 1925. It was destroyed by fire in 1949.

St. Andrew's United Church Directory/Yearbook (1992)

Letter-sized coil-bound yearbook. A 1-page history and several other short features appear. The message from the pastor on the first page is from Ken Dean. The rest of the yearbook, under the heading "Our Church Family" consists of portraits photos of the church members (families and individuals) of St. Andrew's United Church.

A black and white photograph of Dr. Fredrick Hart who was a doctor and later mayor of Indian Head as well as two articles one written about Dr. Fredrick Hart by his son Robert and the other written about his son Dr. Howard Hart (Doctor at Leisure: The organ doctor of Saskatoon. CMA Journal - May 19, 1979, pp 1294-1301).
