This fonds contains material relating to the research work, students, faculty and administration of the College of Education and its departments. These records generally contain correspondence, minutes, reports, and memoranda. Included is material relating to the Colleges' native education programs, such as SUNTEP, ITEP, and NORTEP, as well as records documenting the Colleges' role in the provincial education system.

This fonds contains materials relating to Sophia Dixon's interests in international relations; the various ideologies current in the 1930s and 1940s, notably labour and worker's rights, socialism, communism, social credit, and the rise of fascism during this period; local and international women's organizations, etc. In particular, this fonds provides a comprehensive record of the early Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) in Saskatchewan and Canada; the Farmer-Labor Group, Saskatchewan Farmer's Union, and United Farmers of Canada. Also included is a series of books and other reference materials collected by Charles and Sophia Dixon.

This collection contains the material kept by Professor Deverell in his capacity as Secretary for the Quance Lecture Series. It includes minutes of the committee meetings, correspondence with lecturers, and an almost complete set of both the manuscripts and the published lectures. Missing are the lectures by D.H. Russell (1953), G.E. Flower (1964), and J.R. Kidd (1966) (see University Lectures). Lecturers included J.G. Althouse, ME. LaZerte, W.P. Percival, H.L. Campbell, J.P. Gilmour, C.E. Phillips, G.A. This collection contains mostly textual materials related to Cecil King’s work in Aboriginal Education. His papers, translation work, speaking notes, and teaching materials are included, as are significant documents from his committee work. The collection includes a number of important documents surrounding the aboriginal education work done by such institutions as the University of Saskatchewan, Queens University, the Indian and Northern Education Program, the Indian Teachers Education Program, the Northern Teachers Education Program, the Saskatchewan Urban Native Teachers Education Program, the First Nations University of Canada (formerly SIFC), the Gabriel Dumont Institute, the Saskatchewan Indigenous Cultural Centre, and more. The history of troubles at the First Nations University of Canada is tracked through nearly-daily news reports collected by King from 2005-2010. King also extensively collected materials on Aboriginal Education, language, and general matters of indigenous interest..
