Newsclipping of the Indian Head Hotel - formerly called the Imperial Hotel - after it was destroyed by fire in 1993 - now the site of the Grand Avenue Inn (515 Grand Avenue). The article includes a colour picture of the hotel after the fire and one of Ben Ball, a long-time resident of the hotel.

Nite Hawk Theatre newsclippings

Two articles about the Nite Hawk Theatre (now the Grand Theatre). The first, from July 5, 1975 is about the raising of the drive-in screen one mile south of Indian Head. The second, from Nov 20, 1987 is from the Regina Leader-Post about owner Harold (Sparky) Clarke and the difficulties of keeping a small-town movie theatre going.

Indian Head Area Telephone Exchange Map (1979)

An 83 cm by 75 cm map of the Indian Head Area Telephone Exchange showing the boundaries of all the independent rural telephone companies within the Indian Head Exchange Area from 1902 revised and updated to 1979. In 1975 (see IHM.2020.0187a), these consisted of Wide Awake Rural Telephone Company; Arcadia RTC; Rose Valley RTC; Fair Play RTC; Squirrel Hill RTC; Sunny South RTC; Deep Lake RTC. By 1979, three of the southern companies - Deep Lake RTC, Fair Play RTC and Squirrel Hills RTC had been turned over to SaskTel.
