This fonds contains correspondence and resource material relating to Dr. Kupsch's research, particularly on Frank Davies, Balfour Currie, and the Second International Polar Year; as well as both published and unpublished material from "Gold and Other Stories" and the "Musk-Ox." Additionally, there is considerable reference material relating to uranium mining and nuclear energy, documenting both sides of the ongoing debate over the use of uranium. This fonds also contains an extensive collection of images, documenting 50 years of Dr. Kupsch's field work in northern Saskatchewan and northern Canada, as well as a variety of images relating to the history of geology.

This fonds documents Dr. St-Onge's professional and academic career including correspondence with colleagues, course and committee material, and photographic records. The slides are filed by year and document St-Onge's private and professional life.

This fonds contains a number of files concerning the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM), including the activities and research projects of the Veterinary Infectious Diseases Organization (VIDO), the 1976 Study of Veterinary Manpower in Canada, computer assisted Animal Health Management, and the Preventive Medicine Committee: the latter two specifically concerning the establishment of a herd health data laboratory and disease control programs. In addition, there are several files related to Professor Nielsen's involvement with the Institute for Northern Studies (INS), the President's Advisory Council on Programs for People of Native Ancestry, game ranching in the north, and the Arctic Training Centre at Rankin Inlet. There is a considerable amount of material concerning the Environmental Advisory Council, and specifically, the Churchill River inquiry, Key Lake, the Environment 80 Report, and an uranium pollution control policy.
