This collection contains two copies of the promotional booklet Moose Jaw: The Buckle of the Greatest Wheat Belt in the World. It was published in 1913 by Rice’s Studio, with Lewis Rice as publisher. It includes facts and figures about Moose Jaw as well as photographs and illustrations of the town. Many of the photographs were taken by Rice. Both booklets bear a stamp from the Moose Jaw Board of Trade.
This collection consists of 48 volumes of the 51 part series entitled ‘The Great War: I Was There!’. Parts 13, 18 and 47 are missing from this collection. The series chronicles WWI through firsthand accounts of the war. The series contains original pieces as well as excerpts from other media.
This is Doug McGillivray’s “Memory Lane” sports collection. It is a compilation of newspaper and magazine clippings of sporting events from 1904-1993. The sporting events include: horse racing, golf, collegiate sports, boxing, wrestling, soccer, ladies and men’s softball, Western Hockey Association (W.H.A.) hockey, track and field, basketball, old-timer hockey and National Hockey League (N.H.L.) hockey. The clippings are mounted on coloured bristol board.
This collection contains 26 copies of The Collegiate Outlook from 1906-1914. The Collegiate Outlook was a school magazine published from November to March by the Literary Society of the Moose Jaw High School. It contains essays and jokes written by students, as well as meeting minutes of the Literary Society. These issues were mailed to Mrs. Roy E. This collection consists of thirty-three sets of blueprints and technical drawings for homes, businesses, and schools in Moose Jaw and area, primarily from the early 1900's and 1920's. Many of the drawings are “proposed” plans and the building may have never been constructed.
This collection consists of five scrapbooks of newspaper clippings on many various topics, including many miscellaneous birth, marriage and death announcements, predominantly from the Moose Jaw Times Herald Newspaper.
This collection consists of a scrapbook, primarily newspaper clippings of the activities and events of the Moose Jaw CDL between the years 1931 to 1962. There are also sections in the scrapbook of newspaper clippings on Canadian women, and Canadian war news. Most of the clippings are undated and no sources cited.

This collection consists of one series containing a scrapbook kept by Garth Smith but no certain date is established, except that the newspaper clippings kept may have been from around the time of the Province's Golden Jubilee in 1955. The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings concerning the history of Moose Jaw and the Province from the late 1800's to 1955.
This collection includes Howdy McPhail’s aerial photographs, predominantly of individual farms and views of towns and cities. Some images are of specific landmarks, scenic views, or fauna. All images are identified and a majority are dated. A second accrual contains examples of printed calendars and postcards that were sold by McPhail, as well as some correspondence and other business documentation. Images used in an exhibition curated by Helen Marzolf were added in 2018. Further accruals of correspondence, order forms, negatives and prints were interfiled in Series B.
