Old-time curlers 1962; A large group of people assembled (+70) in front of the Melfort Curling Club. Front row kneeling the remaining standing. Some are holding curling brooms. The Curling Rink has a rounded roof and a sign on the front that indicates a date of 1947. There is snow on the ground.

The old Broadway School was a 3 story brick building with a bell tower. It was situated on the same lot as the present Broadway School on Broadway North.
