Zealandia Wheat Train

First Avenue

A.L. "Bert" King and his wife Rose were homesteaders in Rosetown area. Their daughter Laura married Walter Aseltine. In the photograph, Bert is seated on the roof of a newly constructed building, probably in Rosetown.

Harness Racing

At a fairgrounds. 8 horses with sulky's and rider (driver?) racing. Early vintage automobiles are lined up at the rails with spectators three deep hanging over the inner rail.
