This fonds contains material relating to issues of nutrition, home economy, rural life and consumer advice. It includes material relating to the Federated Women's Institutes of Canada and various branches of the Saskatchewan Women's Institutes, together with documentation created during Emmie Oddie's career and voluntary service interests. Additionally, this fonds contains material created by, collected by, or about Emmie's mother and sister, and their careers.

This fonds contains administrative files from the department of Biology, various grant applications, and material concerning Professor Naylor's involvement with the Genetics Group, the Saskatchewan Health Research Board (specifically concerning radiation), and the Royal Society. There are also several data books and statistical reports from Naylor's research with wild oats, Kochia scoparia, Setcreasea purpurea, and Aspergillus. In addition, there is a considerable amount of correspondence with colleagues M. Lakshmanan, M. Jast, S. Jana, B. Henderstein, E. Hutchinson, W. Newcomb, S.C. Price, G. Setterfield, M. Shaw, R. Tobin, J. Woodard, M. Black, and S. Achary. It also contains a copy of Naylor's thesis, "The Control of DNA Synthesis and Bud Inhibition through Plant Growth Substances," along with some of his published and unpublished manuscripts.

Equivalent in scope to the Presidential or Vice-presidential records, this fonds specifically documents the administration of the Saskatoon campus from 1967-1974, and includes correspondence, reports, minutes, and memoranda. It also includes considerable documentation of the various administrative committees functioning during this period.

This fonds contains building files from the early years of the University (1916-1949). These files include correspondence with the architect, contractor, superintendent of buildings, architect's representative as well as progress estimates, reports on work completed, and inspection reports. Also included are approximately 1300 slides detailing every element of the original administration building and architectural drawings of campus buildings and a computer tape backup of the scanned architectural plans and drawings.

This fonds contains materials relating to Sophia Dixon's interests in international relations; the various ideologies current in the 1930s and 1940s, notably labour and worker's rights, socialism, communism, social credit, and the rise of fascism during this period; local and international women's organizations, etc. In particular, this fonds provides a comprehensive record of the early Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) in Saskatchewan and Canada; the Farmer-Labor Group, Saskatchewan Farmer's Union, and United Farmers of Canada. Also included is a series of books and other reference materials collected by Charles and Sophia Dixon.

There is considerable material regarding the development and delivery of extension programs and adult education in Saskatchewan. Much of the material deals rural and community planning and coping with changing social and economic conditions. This fonds is supplementary and complementary to the official records of the Extension Division.

This fonds documents the lives of the Copland, Hunter and Anderson families, notably their early years following Margaret and William Hunter's move to Canada and years in Saskatoon. It includes materials relating to events such as the 1885 Resistance; later material documenting student life, at the University, as well as materials documenting the daily life of a pioneering farm family. It also includes a card collection maintained by her Barbara Anderson's daughter, Bertha; agricultural fair ribbons from Bertha’s husband, George; and University of Saskatchewan memorabilia from Bertha and George’s daughter, Thelma.
