The Saskatchewan Bulletin, Nov. 1964; "The 17-room, $435,000 Clavet School, situated 17 miles southeast of Saskatoon, was officially opened Friday, October 23. Approximately 300 ratepayers of the Saskatoon East School Unit were in attendance at the evening program which featured Education Minister George Trapp as guest speaker. Clavet principal M. Sorochka said the entire school population of 444 is transported by bus to the school. The program included a key passing ceremony, musical selections by students and a brief congratulatory message from the STF representative J. Friesen. Master of ceremonies was Unit Board Chairman L.C. Duddridge of Hanley."
