The material in this fonds relates to Denham's career as a Professor of English, as well as a significant amount relating to his association with "NeWest Review" from 1983 to 1999. Denham served primarily as literary review editor for NeWest (the book review section was one of the more popular features of the magazine) and more generally as a member of the editorial board. The fonds contains materials collected and/or created by other NeWest editors, including Margaret Gail Osachoff (theatre reviews), Lewis Horne (fiction reviews), Jim Miller, Bill Waiser, and David Carpenter.

This fonds includes materials relating to Patricia Monture’s teaching, research, and professional activities on campus, as well as an extensive collection of materials relating to Indigenous rights, women’s rights, Indigenous women’s rights, the Canadian justice system, and how the Canadian justice system interacts with Aboriginal, female, and Aboriginal female offenders. The papers also explore issues of child welfare and domestic violence. A number of legal documents are included, as are materials relating to Indigenous self-governance, treaties, and the Indian Act. Also included are materials relating to Monture’s involvement in a number of national commissions including the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples, the task force on federally sentenced women, and the task force on the use of solitary confinement in federal prisons. Through Monture’s correspondence, it is possible to get a sense of what it was like working as an Indigenous woman in academia during this period.

This fonds contains a number of files concerning the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM), including the activities and research projects of the Veterinary Infectious Diseases Organization (VIDO), the 1976 Study of Veterinary Manpower in Canada, computer assisted Animal Health Management, and the Preventive Medicine Committee: the latter two specifically concerning the establishment of a herd health data laboratory and disease control programs. In addition, there are several files related to Professor Nielsen's involvement with the Institute for Northern Studies (INS), the President's Advisory Council on Programs for People of Native Ancestry, game ranching in the north, and the Arctic Training Centre at Rankin Inlet. There is a considerable amount of material concerning the Environmental Advisory Council, and specifically, the Churchill River inquiry, Key Lake, the Environment 80 Report, and an uranium pollution control policy. It also contains some material concerning the establishment of a zoo at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm

This fonds contains information on various associations, including correspondence, minutes, reports, constitution and bylaws pertaining to the founding and activities of the Society for the Promotion of Art History Publications in Canada; and to the establishment, financing and distribution of "Revire d'Art Canadienne / Canadian Art Review;" as well as correspondence relating to the Society for the Study of Architecture in Canada and the Universities Art Association of Canada. It includes a proposal for the establishment of the Department of Art History at the University of Saskatchewan and correspondence, memoranda, minutes and reports pertaining to the establishment, administration and operation of the Museum of Antiquities. Included in this are a considerable number of photographs, both of original acquisitions for the Museum and items that were to be considered for future purchases. In addition, there are photos of art reproductions done at the Louvre, and several photos of Columbian, African, Medieval, Japanese, Greek, and Roman sculptures. The majority of the collection contains Professor Gyenes' personal correspondence, writing, speeches, research and lecture notes, as well as museum and gallery catalogues, clippings and a bibliography for research and lectures.
