This collection contains the material kept by Professor Deverell in his capacity as Secretary for the Quance Lecture Series. It includes minutes of the committee meetings, correspondence with lecturers, and an almost complete set of both the manuscripts and the published lectures. Missing are the lectures by D.H. Russell (1953), G.E. Flower (1964), and J.R. Kidd (1966) (see University Lectures). Lecturers included J.G. Althouse, ME. LaZerte, W.P. Percival, H.L. Campbell, J.P. Gilmour, C.E. Phillips, G.A. This fonds contains administrative files from the department of Biology, various grant applications, and material concerning Professor Naylor's involvement with the Genetics Group, the Saskatchewan Health Research Board (specifically concerning radiation), and the Royal Society. There are also several data books and statistical reports from Naylor's research with wild oats, Kochia scoparia, Setcreasea purpurea, and Aspergillus. In addition, there is a considerable amount of correspondence with colleagues M. Lakshmanan, M. Jast, S. Jana, B. Henderstein, E. Hutchinson, W. Newcomb, S.C. Price, G. Setterfield, M. Shaw, R. Tobin, J. Woodard, M. Black, and S. Achary. It also contains a copy of Naylor's thesis, "The Control of DNA Synthesis and Bud Inhibition through Plant Growth Substances," along with some of his published and unpublished manuscripts.

This fonds contains Professor Eager's files on the Alumni Association, Faculty Association, Canadian Committee on Counselling for Engineering, and radio broadcasts for "The World of Chemistry," as well as personal correspondence and lecture notes. In addition, there are several research files on uranium, lignite, kinetics, silicates, and radiation chemistry.

This fonds contains correspondence, memoranda, minutes, and reports for the following committees: Computer Advisory Committee; Computer Management Committee; Computer Budget Committee; Computer Hardware Subcommittee; and Computer Selection Committee. The collection also contains two articles by Professor Wacker: "Switching Noise Studies on Powerline Courier" (1967) and "Image Representation Via Its Symmetrical Components" (1986).

This fonds primarily deals with Gunvaldsen's unpublished manuscript, "The Undiscovered Franz Kafka". There are drafts, notes, clippings, books, and correspondence. There are also several files of a more general nature dealing primarily with German intellectual history. Material is in English and German.

This fonds contains materials primarily related to Moss's work on the soil survey of Saskatchewan, and academic work connected to soil classification and land use.

The fonds consists of files relating to the teaching and research career of Laurie Barron, and consists predominantly of resource files including publications by others and photocopies of archival and library material.

This fonds consists primarily of material from two studies in which Dr. Bone was associated. The earliest, the "Stony Rapids Project", was conducted while Bone was in the Department of Geography. It started with a small grant from the Canadian Wildlife Service to examine the caribou hunt; ie. the number of people involved and the number of animals taken. The project, however, grew to encompass a wider study of the region and its inhabitants. The second study was undertaken while Bone was with the Institute of Northern Studies (INS). The Northern Saskatchewan Housing Needs Survey was a co-operative effort between the Department of Northern Saskatchewan and the Northern Municipal Council. The primary focus was to investigate the housing needs of the Métis in northern Saskatchewan. The INS was subcontracted to oversee the project, train the surveyors, enter the data, and write the final report. The resulting survey was more than an examination of housing needs. It also contains a great deal of socio-economic data which resulted in one of the most exhaustive studies of its kind. The fact that the surveyors came from the communities studied explains much of the data collection success. Both of these projects offer a unique snapshot of the communities studied. There is also material of a more general nature that deals with northern Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba, and the Yukon and Northwest Territories.

This fonds contains records relating to Courtney's post secondary education; academic career, including instructional material; assessments and other referential material; research and publication activities, particularly in the areas of Canadian government and politics, political leadership, parties, electoral systems, constituency boundaries, etc.; addresses and conference presentations; associations and organizations; and other miscellaneous file and resource material

This fonds contains materials relating to Professor Bornstein's teaching, research, and community involvement. In particular, it documents The Structurist.

This fonds consists of material reflecting Professor Allely's interest in and work with the Canadian Armed Forces, including mobilization planning at the University, the Joint Services University Training Committee, the Canadian Officers Training Corps, and lectures on military history. The fonds also includes personal correspondence and publications.

The material in this fonds relates to Denham's career as a Professor of English, as well as a significant amount relating to his association with "NeWest Review" from 1983 to 1999. Denham served primarily as literary review editor for NeWest (the book review section was one of the more popular features of the magazine) and more generally as a member of the editorial board. The fonds contains materials collected and/or created by other NeWest editors, including Margaret Gail Osachoff (theatre reviews), Lewis Horne (fiction reviews), Jim Miller, Bill Waiser, and David Carpenter.

This fonds consists of 27 Sony Beta videocassettes of drawing tutorials.

This collection contains considerable material relating to aviation history, particularly in western and northern Canada, including material on: the Keng Wah Aviation School for Nationalist Chinese pilots; the RCAF; illustrations of the technology of flight; reference material; and microfilms of the Hudson Strait Expedition fonds (1927-1928) and "The Bulletin" (Western Canada Airways, 1929-1937). Additionally, there is material on Tweddell's other research interests, notably aerial mapping and surveying.

This fonds contains a brief journal from a field season (4 June to 12 October) when Mawdsley worked for the Geological Survey of Canada, [between 1924-1929] in northern Quebec; together with memorabilia including a miner's lamp and helmet, and an embossing stamp.
