This fonds reflects Holmlund’s interest in the philosophy of education, his varied career at the University of Saskatchewan, and his concern for an equitable society. It is particularly valuable as a source for university history, specifically for the period of Leo Kristjanson’s tenure; and for issues surrounding health delivery, education, and the College of Medicine; the development of computer / IT services on campus; and First Nations educational opportunities. As a reflection of planning at a post-secondary U-15 institution, this fonds is particularly strong, notably for the materials surrounding the Issues and Options project.

Material is organized by the name of the person profiled. Profiles include: Will James; Joan Bamford Fletcher; Jean Ewen; Gladys Arnold; Morris "Two Gun" Cohen; Richard St. Barbe Baker; Tom Hourie; Norman Falkner; Charlie Palmer; Father Claffey; Emma Woikin; and Kate Rice.

This fonds contains research materials, writings, correspondence, documents and photographs relating to Szalasznyj's life, career and interests. They include information on heritage buildings, creative writing projects and courses including memoir-writing (containing the episode memoirs of approximately 60 persons who wrote assignments) and relate to a variety of organizations such as Wysla School District 4106, Laision Magazine, CBC Radio "Letters From Vantage Point" series, Municipal Heritage Advisory Committee projects and other local history projects, the Saskatoon Memory Writers Club, which she helped to found, Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Saskatoon and the Orthodox faith in Canada, and Doukhobor interests.

This fonds contains materials relating to Arscott's work; his involvement with the Progressive Conservative Party and later disillusionment with the mainstream parties and his activities with the Rhinoceros Party; his extended family; his war service;and reminiscences of growing up in Saskatoon, attending the University, and local and political figures. Particularly extensive is his writing: creative; satire; and memoirs.

This fonds contains files relating to the Department of French, including departmental minutes and annual reports; as well as files on the Library Committee, the Curriculum Revision Committee for Arts and Science, and the University Committee on Student Social Activities.

This fonds includes records relating to the development and maintenance of Regina Waterfowl Park (part of the Wascana Authority); preservation of grasslands; and other material relating to Saskatchewan's parks and natural history.

This collection is of early hymnals and sheet music, collected and used by the Wheatons.

This fonds contains a variety of material relating to George’s interests and career; including drafts of his book on fountain pens; publications and ephemera concerning the Saskatoon Public Library’s history; and ephemera from cultural events in Saskatoon.

The majority of this fonds is printed material including periodicals, magazines and reports. The subject matter deals with women's issues, adult education, native issues and international development primarily in Ghana and Saskatchewan.

This fonds contains materials relating to Moss's career with the University, with particular emphasis on issues surrounding local and international issues relating to the role of women; to teaching in an academic environment; and to continuing education and extension activities.

This collection includes 7 original photograph albums, primarily documenting life overseas for Canadian servicemen during World War I. In addition to the military images are photographs of the Canadian west, including the Better Farming Train, fairs and livestock exhibitions, and early images of Banff, the Rockies, and Vancouver.

The bulk of this fondsl deals with the career of Richard Rempel and post-career project, the biography of the University of Saskatchewan’s third President, W.P. Thompson. This fonds also contains materials relating to the Rempel family, to the academic careers of Jacob and Richard Rempel and to the University of Saskatchewan. In particular, it provides the most extensive source available to date relating to Richard Rempel and Charles Lightbody.

This fonds contains Professor Woods' lecture notes for the following law classes: Property and Ownership; and Personal Property.

These posters document some of the social activities available to students during the 1940-41 regular term. All are hand-made and most are the work of students Jim Quong and A.B. Farnam.
