This fonds contains two series: Farm Documents and Memorabilia. The farm documents relate to material required to operate their farm, such as insurance policies, mortgages and Canadian Wheat Board forms and permits. Memorabilia include school, marriage, baptism, confirmation and lodge certificates given to various family members. The majority of certificates were presented to Julius Fortmann.

This fonds consists of two series. The Federation business includes minutes of meetings, membership lists, and correspondence covering the years 1943-1947. The second series includes lists of electors, reports, poll census forms, statements, returns, and election tally sheets of the 1945 Federal Election, as well as reports and correspondence of the CCF Victory Fund, 1944-1945. Two editions of “The CCF in the Legislature” (1941 with 1942 supplement and 1943) were transferred to the Library Collection.

This fonds consists of a series of scrapbooks kept by Sam A. Hamilton, one containing personal letters and memorabilia and newspaper clippings from the Moose Jaw Evening Times from 1911 to 1947, and another consisting of correspondence, reports, memorabilia and newspaper clippings relating to politics, including the Moose Jaw civic elections of 1918, 1919 and 1920.

The fonds consists of a detailed gardening diary in which Mr. Benson records dates of planting, harvesting, weather, comments on the varieties of flowers and vegetables planted. He also records some other significant local events. There is also a journal/guest book kept by Mrs. Benson recording her hosting of two teas for elderly ladies in Moose Jaw in 1930 and 1931. The lists of attendees include address, and year and place of birth. The remaining file consists of one item of correspondence to Mrs. Benson relating to one of the teas. This fonds also consists of two photo albums, with pictures taken by or of Marguerite (Benson) Gardner, a scrapbook of Thomas William Clayton’s scouting and an atlas from 1871.

This fonds consists of two albums relating to specific campaigns [these include photographs, newspaper clippings, radio scripts, campaign promotional materials, etc.], two certificates and reports on the results of the various campaigns.

This fonds includes an application and certificate of membership to The Co-operative Family Protective Society. It is signed by Walter Paul Johnson, as well as the president and secretary-treasurer of the corporation.

This fonds consists of the first records of Troop No. 1 (St. George’s) Boy Scouts. Included are financial statements from 1925 to 1929, records of the first members of the troop from 1923 to 1940, attendance records and reports of activities from 1923 to 1925, and undated newspaper clippings. There are 4 activity books and 1 guide book for Wolf Cubs.

This fonds contains material about the Green Family. It includes a program from the Moose Jaw School District No. 1 Semi-Centennial, where on page 11 John R. Green wrote about his memories of the school, a Margaret Eaton School Calendar, where Eva Green is listed as a student in 1929, and an RNS Program. It also includes Zion United Church booklets that lists Frances and Eva Green’s names, a booklet for the Fran Pieran Club, a G.P. Plaxton Real Estate booklet, a binder belonging to Eva Green that contains newspaper clippings booklets on local council, business and professional women, and other things of interest, and three Central Collegiate school yearbooks belonging to Eva and Frances Green.

The fonds contains several series containing programs of events, the League's official business in their operation and the League's efforts in conserving and managing resources and wildlife.

This fonds contains five series published articles, poems, original letters of the poet, various event programmes and a minute book from the Wilson MacDonald Poetry Society.

This fonds contains a receipt from the Canadian National Express Company and a letter from the Radville Boy Scouts Scoutmaster.

This fond consists of records of the Buffalo Lake Water Conservation Association that were held by Richard Loney. They are primarily correspondence and “general” files relating to the Association, likely filed by Loney. There is also a file relating to petitions and lists of area landowners, a scrapbook of press clippings relating to this and other similar projects and a reprinted speech to the Legislative Assembly given by W.G. Ross supporting the project.
